We met Henry & his family in early 2018, shortly after they moved to Idaho. He was a staple at our gym, known by just about everyone that went there. He eventually focused his fitness on weightlifting and had great success at local and national competitions. My wife and I became close friends with Henry and his family, meeting up for regular dinners, birthdays, and even celebrating holidays. Henry was always an old soul, who didn’t seem to know a stranger, and could hold a conversation with adults anywhere he went.
While we saw him less at get togethers in recent years, I always enjoyed hearing about how he was doing, and how he had become such a hardworking young man. His dry sense of humor never failed to make us laugh. We miss you very much, Henry, and look forward to seeing you again one day.
