This is Henry sitting in my stock tank because he was complaining about how hot it was so I convinced him to get in.

My absolute very first memory of Henry was the first time we met. It was at chevys Mexican restaurant in Roseville. I was about 13 and he was 3. He sat across from me at the table and I remember thinking what an adorable little kid he was. My most recent memory was from the last time I saw him. You all came to visit and we had a bbq at grandma Cathy’s house. Henry and Jackson were so excited to have Levi try on Jackson’s old hotdog costume. So they cut holes in the bottom to make sure he fit.

Henry and I had many amazing memories, I truly wouldn’t be able to pick one as my favorite because they were all so different and incredibly unique. I truly miss being able to create more, but hopefully I’ll be able to make more with him someday❤️ My top three favorite memories is when I watched him graduate, I was truly so proud of him! Or when he came to watch me play at my soccer game and fell asleep in the car afterwards, but last but not least, when we planned a day to go out on the water to teach him how to paddle board!

I am so proud of the young man you were becoming. I have loved every minute of being your grandma and will always remember the big brown eyes, adventurous dinners, dry humor and big hugs. You will always be in my heart. I love you and miss you more than words Henry.

I had the privilege of teaching Henry in the 6th grade. He was also a good friend to my son, Mason. Henry was one of the most effortlessly funny people I’ve ever met. I had a hard time disciplining him when he disrupted class because what he would say was usually so incredibly funny. On fieldtrips, I would keep him in my group to keep his boundless energy and (sometimes mischievous) ideas in check, but also just because I enjoyed his company. He had the best heart; he looked out for the kids who were lonely or struggling. At the same time, he was very popular and all the other boys tried to emulate him, especially his jokes and silliness. I have kept up with Celina and Jeff’s updates about Henry over the years through social media with fondness and pride and joy for the man he had become. I am heartbroken that he left us while still so young. I will always be grateful for the opportunity I had to get to know and love Henry. He was truly one of a kind.

I love you Henry, I am so grateful for you. The memories that I have of you and with you will always make me smile and I will cherish them. You made an impact on people in your life at such a young age and that is so special, you are so loved. I remember recording music at your house when you were a little boy and you loved the screaming music we all listened to so we made you your own song. That’s when Henry the robot became your nickname. You came on stage at a show of ours and showed the entire town what you had. I will never forget having a little kid on stage screaming for all the girls, you have always made everyone smile around you. I love you Henry, I can’t wait to see you again ❤️
